First time here yesterday. My stylist was Nicole. She is very talented, amazing and kind. I absolutely loved the cut and style she gave me. I loved the decor and look of the salon too. I talked with Gabby on my way out, who was just so friendly and fun! Such a great place!

I can’t believe I haven’t shared how much I love this place! I’ve had my hair done by Mel and Jen and had fantastic experiences. You definitely get what you pay for here. If you want a cheap hair cut without all the training and expertise they have at P&S, don’t come here. They have great products available but they aren’t pushy with them. I won’t go anywhere else unless I move!

OBSESSED. I've never colored my hair before so I was a little unfamiliar with the process and which color application was best for me. (I got balayage) It turned out PERFECT. Melanie was amazing, she cut/styled my hair according to the texture of my hair and how I normally wear it and it was literally the best haircut I've ever received on top of the wonderful color treatment..SO happy with the results. All of that (cut, style, color, curling) was under 2 and a half hours. 10/10 would recommend this place and Melanie!

Colton met with us for a free consultation before deciding what technique to use in fixing my daughters natural summer highlights that grew out with dark roots. He was so patient on the phone and in person and did a wonderful job!! It's a quaint, scheek salon with fair pricing that we'd highly recommend!!

I have been coming here for a few years and am disappointed in my experience today. I was supposed to have an apt at what I believed was 11:45. I got a text at 11:10 saying I was late and would be charged in full. I called and said I thought the apt was at 11:45 (just made it 2 days prior). I was told I was wrong. I was also told that since I had confirmed the apt, I must have known it was 11. I told this person I never received a confirmation but they didn’t believe me and said their screen shows a “green confirmation” so I must have. I have searched through my texts and emails and I did not receive a confirmation. The person on the phone was terse and unfriendly. I understand the need to run a business with consideration for financial implications but empathy goes a long way with loyal customers and there is no reason to be rude. I’m at home with a newborn and scheduled someone to watch him so I could get my haircut so we were both disappointed. She told me I would be charged in full and asked if I wanted to reschedule… no thanks.

I have been a customer for ten years. My mom and my friends are also customers of this salon. II send everyone I know there who is inquiring about a new stylist/salon. It is by far the best experience you can imagine when you step foot into any of their salons. This place is SO successful that they have multiple locations to accommodate different clients- Lawrence location is my favorite. The new location off of McGee & 17th is so nice and beautiful. The professionalism, kindness and flexibility this business has shown over the years deserve 5+ stars. I highly recommend this salon for ALL of your hair needs!!!! Any stylist is great, give P & S a try if you are looking for a change of stylist or if you are just ready to change your hair!!! Love love Love this place!

I called 2 days ago and made it very clear I had curly hair and wanted a curly haircut and a stylist who did curls specifically. Was told nothing about needing to come in with clean dry hair and went in expecting them to wash and dry my hair. Got told as I was sitting they wouldn't be able to do a curly cut, as specifically requested and told the rules then, was also then told the hair dresser assigned to me was not the curly hair specialist, as requested. Was offered a basic cut, that was not what I wanted. Walked out. I'll find a salon with better service.
